How To Block Pop-Ups and Use Your PC Without Being Interrupted

Pop-ups fall into three categories:
* The browser pop-ups
* The messenger service advertisements
* Adware and spyware pop-ups.
A pop-up is any information, which appears on your screen on top of a page you are viewing. A pop-under occurs under the page you are viewing, so watch your tabs for these guys and close them. In the past, pop-up blockers were a feature in the browser or you added these to your search bar to prevent adware and spyware pop-ups. Pages you visited with additional ads required a click to open the ad on the website, now if you simply pass your mouse pointer over the ad, even accidentally, the ad will Pop-up. Currently, the only way to stop this is to keep your fingers off the mouse unless you intend to open an ad on a page you are visiting.
The general browser pop-ups are general messages telling you something you need to know. An example of a general pop-up is, "Now downloading a security update" or "Do not turn off the computer updates are installing" or "Your computer will turn off when the download is complete". These (and similar messages) are benign messages, which come from your browser as a pop-up. Another such pop-up is a message from your security program telling you, "You have a potentially dangerous virus or spyware scan now". General pop-ups are usually important pieces of information.
Messenger service pop-ups are another story and without a pop-up blocker, they will interfere with your web browsing experience. They display advertising based on tracking cookies they or a partner company dropped into your browser to track your interests. For instance, if you spend some time searching for a new car in Internet car sales sites, pop-ups begin appearing, offering new cars. You may begin receiving spam car ads in your email inbox.
To stop these messenger service pop-ups install a pop blocker add-on to your search bar. Activate the Internet Explorer Firewall every time you use Internet Explorer. If you are using Windows XP and have not added the XP service pack 2 do this now. The XP SP2 will block pop-ups by using Internet Explorer pop-up blocker settings and allow only pop-ups from secure websites with https in the URL. Some browsers make these messenger service pop-ups are no longer a problem.
Adware and spyware generated pop-up ads function like general browser pop-ups but with a dangerous side effect. These stem from malware and appear to be browser helpers, which are really Active-X controls, which attach to Internet Explorer and export personal and private information back to the person who sent the malware. If a website says: "Activate your ActiveX controls", you should be very careful with that web site (casino sites are known to ask for this for legitimate reasons, but it is too much of a risk to "activate" Active-X by all means.

How to Remove Ad Pop-Ups From Your Computer

Does your computer constantly barrage you with advertisements, even when you aren't browsing the web? Don't you wish you could get rid of those silly things? In this article, you will learn how to permanently banish these things from your system!
The problem is something called adware, which is malicious software that installs itself on your PC as you use it. Over time, you get a massive buildup of adware, which causes you to constantly have ad pop-ups.
By design, adware (and other types of malware) are difficult to remove. After all, their creators want you to keep seeing their ads, because they get paid for every person who does.
Even more obnoxious is that adware takes up processor time, in effect slowing down your computer (since less processor time is available to you). All of this, just so they can make a few bucks!
The good news is that there are a number of commercially available products that remove adware. For a small fee (usually under $50/year) they not only remove the stuff from your computer, but automatically scan to prevent new infections from occurring, leaving you with a nice, quick system.
When you install an adware removal program, it will scan your system to determine which problems you have, and then remove them. You may have to restart your computer in some cases.
After your system has been scanned and cleaned, the removal program will run in the background, keeping your computer clean and easy to use.

The Top 3 PPV Marketing Contextual Networks

PPV Marketing is a form of internet marketing in which ads are served based on the context of the page. This is also referred to as contextual marketing. When you are searching for offers through your typical CPA network, you will often see links for Contextual. Using these link you can server your ad on one of the top PPV Networks.
The top 3 ppv networks are Traffic Vance, Media Traffic, and AdOn Network.
1. Traffic Vance
Traffic Vance is like the Google of the PPV Marketing world. They have the most traffic and are also extremely picky about who they let in to their network. In order to join you must have a referral (sometimes 2) and pass the application process. Once that is complete, you are required to deposit an initial $1,000 to join and serve your ads. While this sounds like a lot, if you are serious about PPV Marketing, this will not be a problem. However, it is recommended you understand how to promote via these types of networks before joining Traffic Vance.
2. Media Traffic
Media Traffic is the second best network to join. They have a pretty good amount of traffic, but not nearly as much as Traffic Vance (no one does though). They also have a fair amount of international traffic which is good if you are trying to think outside the box and promote international offers. The minimum deposit for Media Traffic is $200 which allows a lot more marketers to start here first.
3. AdOn Network
AdOn Network is a great entry level network to join. They are different though from the other networks in that instead of serving pop-ups on contextual traffic, they serve pop-unders. While this sounds not as lucrative, it certainly can be. The advantages to AdOn is that the pop-unders can cost as little as $.005 each and they only require a minimum deposit of $20 to start.

Pay Per View Marketing Strategy: Why Most People Are Turning To It

What is pay per view marketing strategy?
Pay per view, also referred to as PPV, is a marketing strategy that utilizes adware. Adware is a form of advertising done on free software. It is different from spyware in that it is not malicious and the user willingly installs the software. However, the user sometimes is not given the option of viewing or not viewing the advert and some companies just sneak in the adverts. In any case, the user is always in knowledge that they are using adware.
How does the pay per view marketing strategy work?
The strategy starts with setting up a marketing campaign with any PPV network. These networks are quite a number. The choice of the network determines your advertising success and the cost you are to incur. The most popular PPV networks include TrafficVance, Media Traffic, LeadImpact and Direct CPV.
Your advert is then attached to some software. While attaching the advertisement, you specify the URLs of the websites that you will want to appear in the advert or the keywords that will prompt the adverts. When a person installs the software on their computer, the specified websites will pop up every time the software is run or when the specified keywords are searched using any search engine. You can also set it such that the website you are promoting pops up on the user whenever a certain website is visited.
During the setting up of the advertising campaign, you choose how the adverts will be appearing. They can be pop-ups such that the user sees the advertisements the moment a triggering action takes place or a pop-under where the user sees the advert after closing their browser.
Payment on Pay per View Marketing Strategy
Payment here is a bit different from what happens with pay per click. In this case since the user actually sees the website, you pay for every view of the site you are promoting. In other words, the user does not have to click on anything on the website.
But why are so many marketers going for this option?
The answer to that question is dependent on two factors. One, with a pay per view strategy, you could get more visitors to your site than you would with other strategies. If you set up your campaign well, making the correct choice of keywords and URLs such that the user of the software would be interested with the products you market on your website, you could actually be getting targeted traffic. The second and most important reason, is that a pay per view marketing strategy is far cheaper compared to pay per click and many other advertising strategies.
